ONE DAY...!!!

Tomorrow marks the return of arch rivals Southampton to Fratton Park for the first time since 2005.

In that game the Blues beat the Saints 4-1 when both teams were Premiership clubs, with the last goal coming from Lomana Lua Lua.

But in February 2010, Pompey were drawn away to Southampton in the FA Cup 4th round, where the result was 4-1 again with goals from Quincy Owusu-Abeyie, Aruna Dindane, Nadir Belhadj & Jamie O'Hara!

Early team news is that Luke Varney is out but Pompey hope he will return for the clash at The Den against Millwall on Boxing Day.

Meanwhile, the Pompey faithful are hoping that Saints 1st team keeper Kelvin Davies is out, after their #2 goalie made some silly mistakes in their 2-2 draw against Blackpool last weekend.

Pompey do have the upper hand, despite the Saints being top, after having back to back wins while Saints suffered two away defeats at Doncaster and Bristol City!
