CARL BAKER
31/08/2017 18:30Born in Prescot, Merseyside on 26 December 1982. Carl is a midfielder who began his career at schoolboy level for Liverpool before playing for Prescot Cables. He signed for Southport in 2003 and left in July 2007 to join Morecambe. Carl moved to Stockport County in July 2008 and then signed for Coventry City in January 2010, becoming club captain in 2012. He left Coventry in September 2014 and joined Milton Keynes Dons. Carl signed a two-year deal with Pompey on 14 June 2016 and linked up with boss Paul Cook who had previously managed him at Southport.
Carl left the club by mutual consent on 31 August 2017. He has now retired from professional football.
