Matt Taylor joined the Fratton side in 2002 and played in a Pompey shirt until 2008. He played an impressive 178 matches and scored 23 goals, which doesn't do his talents justice. A fantastic player who scored some cracking goals, including that famous volley at home to Everton during the 06-07 campaign which should have won Goal of the Season. One of the best left feet in the business and a nerveless penalty taker.
