RICHIE BARKER APPOINTED POMPEY MANAGER

Richie Barker was officially unveiled yesterday as Pompey's new manager.

The ex-Crawley and Bury boss has signed a rolling contract and will take charge of the team for the first time when Pompey entertain Newport County this Saturday.

Also, Steve Coppell, who worked alongside Barker at Crawley, has joined the Fratton Park set-up as director of football, and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.

We are now officially Richie Barker's Blue And White Army!
