TOM NAYLOR

Born in Sutton-in-Ashfield on 28 June 1991. Tom is a midfielder/defender, who began his career as a youth player at Mansfield Town where he signed professional terms in 2009. He joined Derby County in January 2012 and then signed for Burton Albion in June 2015. Tom signed a three-year contract with Pompey on 8 June 2018 and was made club captain during the 2019-20 season.

Whilst sometimes dividing opinion among fans, Tom never gave less than 100% and scored some crucial goals in his time at the club.

Having failed to agree a new contract after the end of the 2020-21 season, Tom left Pompey and signed for Wigan Athletic. He now plays for Chesterfield.
